Often misinterpreted as Sexy Attractive Male or something like that. It actually is a shorter version of Samantha or Samuel. Many girl Sam's get frustrated when looking for the definition of Sam, because they're all related to guys, or acronyms. Sam (girl)- super nice and smart. She'll want to get involved with everything.
