A form of extreme-hardstyle electronic music that takes the most intense elements from all forms of EDM. Stepcore is usually mixed at around 910 BPM, comprising of a beat made up of only severely distorted kick drums (and maybe a few Pryda Snares here and there-usually off tempo). It should be noted that when producing stepcore, all basses should use modern talking, and be loaded with soundgoodizers and sausage fatteners. Most stepcore songs are mastered so that all output meters are clipping. This provides the nice, heavily distorted sound that all good stepcore songs have. See dubstep moombahcore
