Verb san-TOO-chee: 1. The act of using highly sophisticated words in an inappropriate setting. Such as when at a party, talking to your friends, or outside of school. This could also mean not purposely using the sophisticated word but then realizing it sounds pretty sophisticated. 2. Making something (as in a school paper, project, speech sophisticated, or the like) more sophisticated, or adding articulate words to it.
