"Wldnas" is in fact a contraction of "William Dinas" and is used by some unscrupulous individuals as a pseudonym on the World Wide Web. However, it does have some offensive connoations. For example, in the town of Leamington Spa, UK, it is generally understood to mean "a thirty year old man who still lives with his parents and has a dead end job". In some regions of the UK, "Wldnas" appears in local folklore as a kind of bogeyman figure, which parents use to frighten disobedient children with. "Wldnas" is also a legendary figure on the Internet, known for haunting message boards, generally causing havoc, and preaching his divinity to all and sundry.
