They may not typically be a slut, but has the capacity to be and there are times when they get more dick that one would care to think about. Like binge drinking but with dicks instead of alcohol. You don't do it all the time but when you do, you go hell-for-leather. From the word dipsomaniac, someone who suffers from intermittent bouts of craving alcohol.
