Scis-sor-ing: Verb: The act of taking scissors and jabbing it into ice to remove said ice from beneath your vehicle. This is so the vehicle can have more traction with the pavement and allow the vehicle to move. The scissors are also meant to be used in a sweeping motion as to remove the freed ice from the area that is being stabbed.
