A sproggenfrau (n), also known as a 'womban,' is a woman who defines her identity by her ability to reproduce; she is nothing without her children. She often measures her worth and the worth of other women based on their maternal capabilities alone. This kind of woman often sees non-mother women as lesser beings, and constantly complains about how hard her life is as a mother.
