Noun, describing the act of searching your full name via an online search engine (google, bing, yahoo), similar to taking a "selfie". The difference to a selfie is that searchies are less embarassing, because only the search engine company knows that you are a self-absorbed narcissist. Usually done in the false belief that it will increase your ranking in google.
