Slang term for a hymenorrhaphy, or a reconstruction of the hymen. It involves stitching up the broken pieces of the hymen (the vaginal membrane) or recreating an artificial hymen using vaginal lining. A less intrusive version of this procedure involves inserting a blood capsule into the vagina that will burst during intercourse. This procedure is usually undergone to recreate a "proof of virginity" before a wedding.
