The hat worn by the Commissar of Education in the German empire. It featured black and white stripes and was topped with a German Eagle. It also sported a chinstrap, to allow the commissar to bend down without the headgear falling off. The hat was also briefly worn by Adolf Hitler during his 56th birthday. However, he felt that the strap was too tight, and threw it across the room. The hat was last seen on April 20th, 1945.
