An American rock band formed in 2001. After going on hiatus for a few years from 2010 - 2012, they returned with a massive breakthrough in their new album titled Save Rock and Roll. Although the band has received mixed reviews on this album, the majority seem to adore the album (and the others miss the 'old' Fall Out Boy) For some reason, unintelligent beings seem to think of the fans of this outstanding band to be 'emo' which is absolutely ridiculous, considering they are first and foremost now a punk rock/pop rock band who produce amazing, real music that one can actually listen to without shaving their ears off. Other bands that are similar include Green Day and Panic! At the Disco. Although, in utter honesty, there is not a band as good in their genre as Fall Out Boy. Their talented members are Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz (Peter Wentz), Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley.
