A “Judas Worm Tongue” is a conniving, weasel–like traitor who is a backstabber and has troll-like characteristics. Many times, this person is a co-worker, dysfunctional family member or neighbor. Judas is from “Judas Iscariot” the buddy and 13th student of Jesus of Nazareth who handed him over to the authorities to be executed for a bag of silver. Worm Tongue is from that nasty “shit stirring,” “dark friend” character in “The Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R. Tolkien.
