A player in an online game who is new to the game and is not very good at it. There are many types of noobs, here are a few. - Newb - Respectable, because they ask more experienced players for advice and tips so they can generally improve. - n00b - An unskilled, annoying player who often resorts to cheap methods of gaining kills then expecting praise. Often accuses more experienced players of hacking because they suck. These are the worst type of noob. Noobs will often ragequit games because they get extremely competitive and angry when they are beaten. Noobs will also boast about their "skill", and rage when they are beaten by a more experienced player.
