Snow Ball is a character in George Orwell's book, "Animal Farm." (Snowball = Leon Trotsky.) To be Snow Balled is to be removed from your position of influence though coercion. (Ideologies, socio-political standings...) The effect is compounded (Snowball effect.) after you are not present to defend your positions. Falsehoods are projected to defame the person being Snowballed. This term is most commonly used in sales and other white collar professions. (To force out though coercion.) (Defamation of character.)
