"Gangnam Style" is a K-pop single by the South Korean musician PSY (short for psycho). The song was released in July 2012 as the lead single of his sixth studio album PSY 6 (Six Rules), Part 1, and debuted at number one on South Korea's Gaon Chart. On December 21, 2012 it reached over a billion views. Today it has about 1.25 billion views. It actually is about the "class" that is to be found in the wealthy Seoul neighborhood of Gangnam, whose residents are known to party a lot. Although, most non-South Korean PSY fans take this to mean a silly horse dance.
