A poor student in grade 9 who's intelligence and competance is always underestimated. The older grades and sometimes teachers will not rest until this students soul has been sucked out slowly through their teeth. The older students and teachers will pass this off as good fun, but that is a pathetic excuse. They could be smarter or more mature than some of the other students, but it dosen't matter just because of their grade.
