News shows are absolutely essential to the functioning democracy. Through stories and interviews, illusions of truth, are created. News shows use sounds and images, and play a huge part in brainwashing people.

Without news shows to support them, the rich and their ruling regime, and system of interlinked organisations, which have exerted control over most countries, of the world, would less easily be able to be portrayed as democracy in action.
