Noun: a gun for those who are practical. I see alot of Glock bashing in favor of Sig's but lets be honest, for the price of a sig you can get 2 glocks, in the same caliber, you can also get replacement parts for about 1/4 the price. If your sig has a serious malfunction and you have to take it to a gunsmith you will have to do some deep digging to find a sig certified armorer, whereas glock armorers are a dime a dozen I know 6 of them without trying to find one. I am not arguing that a sig is a bit more accurate than the glock, thats a fact, however the accuracy difference is unnoticable at closer ranges (the ones that happen in real life like 25ft) The glock is easily the most reliable handgun on the market today with a larger mag capacity than sig or baretta and is the easiest on your wallet. It also requires less Preventive maintenance than any other gun. Everytime I hear about a jam or a malfunction with a glock, it's because someone didn't read the owners manual and applied gun grease or someone over oiled it, or hasn't cleaned it in 25 yrs(no shit actually happened...to a cop no less.) I am not saying its the best gun ever, but for CCW purposes and constant use, it is the best option for most. However if your a competition shooter and money is limitless, go sig or custom 1911.
