Nadezhda is a Russian name which means 'hope', usually changed to Nadia or Nadiya when used in an English-speaking country. Somebody who isn't Russian but called Nadezhda, or one of it's translated names, usually has heritage in one of the Soviet nations. They are usually tall and beautiful, with a gymnastic history. She'll have the most gorgeous eyes that anybody has ever seen, and a cute smile to go along with it.
