The first and greatest band of USA. Influenced by rock and rollers such as Chuck Berry, harmonies of vocal groups like The Four Freshman, and instrumentation from Phil Spector and other acts such as The Beatles and sunshine pop. Brian Wilson, the genius composer of the band, was musically speaking the Beach Boy. Composing arranging everything, teaching his other 2 brothers Carl and dennis, his cousing Mike Love and friend Al jardine how to sing and what to play, after composing everything on a piano and bass. Their album Pet Sounds iss the most innovating ground breaking touching influential album of all the time. Composed by a 23 year old dude that 2 years before was making simple but yet original surf songs, which had mostly very superficial lyrics. By 1966, after listening to the previous groundbreaking album by the Beatles called Rubber Soul, he felt it was first album he'd ever heard that was really a unit, an album where everysong meant something with no filler songs, like rock & roll covers. He felt he needed to express what he felt, it was enough simple rock and roll songs with simple music and shitty lyrics, it was time to go against that fucking cunt Mike Love who only thought of music as a bussiness and fucked up Brian's mind big time. Brian felt a competition with the Beatles, and so decided to make the greatest album ever, and he did.
