The act of using yoga for self-aggrandisement, to define personal style or to make money in the yoga business. All talk and no action. The charlatan doing fake yoga is often seen looking good in yoga clothes, or making money through dialog based instruction, but doesn't actually do the yoga that they preach. This person uses spiritual Buddhist or Hindi proverbs to sells out the spiritual aspects of yoga, while collecting fees for yoga classes. Often the person who is faking yoga works at a yoga studio and gains sympathy by telling personal stories of car accidents or physical trauma, that leave the them unable to perform, but able to make money talking about yoga.
