Laindon / Langdon Hills is a small town within Basildon, Essex and is considered to the be the rich, cocky part of Basildon linking in with Dunton, West Horndon and Brentwood. Laindon tends to be anti-chav however due to its location within Basildon, residents tend to be associated with this stereotype. The residents are very Conservative and come under the 'Basildon and Billericay' constituency, instead of the chav-ridden 'West Basildon' constituency. Laindon is home to large houses areas of land more towards Dunton and Langdon Hills, and smaller premium housing villages closer towards Laindon Station.
