Military slang for any thing, person, or body part that is not within correct operating tolerance. Can be used as either a noun or an adjective. Concerning people: On rare occasions it is used as a form of address between buddies like when a troop has been restricted to light duty such as office work instead of their regular job. 1st person: frequently the speaker dissociates from injured part(s) as though they themselves are perfectly fine, yet significantly burdened by a body part that isn't operational. 3rd person: frequently pejorative and almost always refers to entire person.
