A theory of conflict which purports that, when faced with an interpersonal conflict, one can choose to 1.) confront the person directly (i.e., "itch it") or choose to complain about the conflict to those who can do nothing to change it (i.e., "bitch it"). Similar to Fight vs. Flight.
