Definition: Asking another person if he/she has had time to eat yet? It was once a question now just a word. What was once, Did you eat yet? Now becomes, yo-digeatyet? Background: I dont know really-I am from NE Ohio and moved to the west coast with some friends-all the locals could never understand what we were asking eachother at work around lunchtime. It slowly became a coined expression around work.
