Created by blending the words Bohippian and Hipster, Bohippister are the third world anthropophagic synthesis of urban hipsters and hippie new age revivalists. They share the same counter-culture, progressive, anti-systemic values and a typically urban taste for art and fashion. However, bohippisters seek to make up for their upper-middle class guilt by practicing veganism, yoga, meditation, conscious consumption, voluntary works and resistance practices, such as black spotting and memewaring. They support Revolutionary Love and the act of free love, seeking self-satisfaction and world peace. They are optimistic Rev Setters, participating in whatever manifestation there is. Bohippisters wear a confusing mix of hipster outfits with folk references. They defend Folkosmopolitism as way to blend local references from all over the over and bring humanity closer together. There is a high effort to balance between Northern and Southern, Eastern and Western references.
