The world's most useless public transit network. Based in Canada's capital, Ottawa, it features some 250 bus lines, each running less reliably than the last. One of the most talked-about events in the company's history was the strike of '08. Started in December, just in time for the designated intra-religious holiday season, it continued through February 2009, at which point, an enraged businessman, who had relied on the bus service to get to work, went on a rampage, slaughtering 40 executives, 12 drivers and 5 mechanics, and threatening to blow up a gas tank at the headquarters if the striking employees didn't get back to work. A prominent controversy at OC Transpo is the city's light rail system. You see, the city used to have a sort of trolley in the early 20th century, which was for some reason all but removed. City council's been bitching about bringing it back for the last two decades, but they're too corrupt to do more than fund a useless above-ground line going from nowhere to no place special.
