A wife of a military personnel who acts in an obnoxious manner by "wearing her husband's rank" and literally wearing her husband's dog tags everywhere. They bitch will bitch until they can't breath about the small things that happen in the military, "Poor me, my husband is deployed; Wah, we didn't get to eat dinner together because the chief of command kept him an hour late!" You can usually spot a Boot Wife driving around with stickers on her car call that read something like: "Half of my heart is in Iraq" or "Military Spouse, hardest job in the military."
