A middle class blue collar neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago next to Midway Airport. Archer Avenue is its main artery boasting of many fast food restaurants, taverns and pizza joints. Heavy Polish and Hispanic populous and home to many police, firefighters and union workers. Homes range from two-story bungelows, one-story ranch style and many new homes are being constructed with two or even three-story suburban style mansions. People are generally friendly, streets are tree-lined, it's fairly safe, block parties in the summer, church carnivals, and folks who will tell you their life stories at the tavern.
