Usama bin Zayd (also spelled Osama) was the son of Zayd ibn Harithah and a companion of the Prophet Muhammad and one of the first Muslims. Usama was very much loved by the Prophet Muhammad almost as equal to a grandson. He was the youngest person ever to be appointed a general. In Arabic, Osama means a Lion or is used as a nickname given to describe a strong feline. Usama (Osama) has the quality of braveness and strength, he is fearless and determined, focused and strong minded but at the same time caring and would sacrifice anything for good. He smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection.
