A type of stipend in which an individual is granted a specific amount of money (however meager) for the purpose of attending a teacher training workshop. A snaifend involves a conflict between the provider of the money and the receiver. It may also involve the receiver lying about how much he has or will spend on taxi fare and this may or may not result in a fistfight. A snaifend may also be used to buy a month's worth of groceries. This requires a trip to Three Flags and will more than likely result in the individual missing out on one or more days of workshop. Snaifends have various other uses, foremost of which is the chupaton. Individuals have been known to pool their snaifend proceedings to finance this drinking marathon.
