A deep attraction to another person in which their happiness is more important to you than your own, and in which the greatest joy you both know is when you're doing things together. It is a lifetime commitment to each other that arises in the hearts of two people, making it natural, appropriate, and fulfilling to express love intimately, romantically, sexually and in bearing children and raising them together. Love transcends all boundaries, so it does not matter if the loved one is of a different race or religion, or different colored skin, or closely related, or of the same gender. Love knows no taboo, and is the highest fulfilment of humanity. It makes all other activities in life worthwhile, and it gives us back to ourselves.
