A nickname for the late 1980s, early 1990s pop group Milli Vanilli whose singers actually didn't sing the songs they claimed to. The two males were likely selected for the group based on their appearance. They lip-synched all of their live performances. They were busted because people started to question why nobody had ever heard their singing voices in person.
