Clondalkin is a large suburb of South West Dublin city. It is bordered to the north by the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, which contains, amongst other retail units, Marks & Spencers and B & Q. To the south is the 300 acre Corkagh Park, which is immediately adjacent to the Naas Road, and through which the River Camac flows. To the east of Clondalkin is Ballyfermot and Lucan lies to the west. The M50 Motorway runs North/South along the eastern edge. Boxers Kenny Egan and Bernard Dunne are from the area. As are comedians Brendan Courtney and Graham Norton.
