A neighborhood in Chicago just south of the main campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Residents are usually either students at UIC, or young urban professionals (especially in the Ivy Hall apartments). The neighborhood is close to downtown Chicago, and is also adjacent to Greektown, Little Italy, and Pilsen. Because of this, living in University Village means you have every type of restaurant you could imagine nearby. Residents usually call it UVillage
