A company mainly in Mountain View, California that programs computer software, and hardware. Sun Microsystems was founded in 1982 by Andreas Bechtolsheim, Vinod Khosla, and Scott McNeally. This company is known by a congregation of software developers (programmers), and generally computer/networking enthusiasts. They are in more specific terms, known for there Solaris Operating System, and Java Programming Language. They are also known for giving the most "bang for your buck" if you will.
