noun (plural: pigots) Derived terms: pigoted, pigotry. A pigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to pork and any of its derivatives; including bacon, gammon, sausages, ham, spam, pâtés, confit etc. Pigots are strongly partial to pork and believe that pork is superior to other kinds of meat. They exhibit intolerance, and animosity toward those that enjoy other types of meat.
