May occur if: a) Your mom is driving and must suddenly stop short, break hard, or perform any other semi-dangerous driving maneuver especially in response to someone else's bad driving b) If you are about to cross a busy intersection and she wants to protect you from oncoming traffic and/or keep you from crossing before she gives consent
