Technopunk is a community of performers, artists, ravers and hackers enjoying a punk lifestyle surrounded by hitech. It has been one of the first culture to be computer aided designed from scratch, be it the arts, the networks. The term was first coined within the illegal techno movement around europe back in the early 90s, using the internet to get organized against governmental repression. Technopunks are persecuted by a police state all around the world until today they find ways to fight this using networks. Original technopunk happenings don't happen in clubs but in random squats, outdoor and indoor and it is difficult for a lambda new comer to get any information at first, it is impossible to find any honest or real information about technopunk on any media except the internet.
