After the Simpsons character Ralph Wiggum, used to describe a wide-eyed individual who remains happily unaware of their own ignorance. Not only can this person not stay focused on the task at hand (typically caused by a self-imposed distraction or mishap), but also, the person may not fully understand the task at hand... or reality in general. Explaining to the individual the error of their ways is futile for this reason, as the mistakes they make are based on the fact that they are not aware of the most basic things in life which are acceptable or not acceptable to do.
