Stands for Youthful Offender camp. It's a prison for people who are over the age of 18 and under the age of 23. When charged as a youthful offender you get a lot less time in prison. If after all the reductions you still get more than a year you are sent to a YO camp. This is arguably tougher than Federal prison for various reasons. You're in with murders, rapists ect. But due to the fact that the government is trying to go easier on the youthful offenders their are less restrictions and more freedoms for the prisoners. This means the murders get to roam the camp doing what they do best.
