1. A term used in football for the England football team. It comes from the English Coat of Arms, in which there are three blue lions on a shield. 2. A very well known song released in 1996 sung by David Baddiel and Frank Skinner. It was used as the official anthem for the England football team in the European Championships that year. It is commonly sung by crowds at football games.
