What every other state calls a "BBQ" we Texans call a picnic. This has lead to much confusion and mouth watering for Texans unfortunately outside their state who are traveling to a so-called BBQ. The usual menu at such a "BBQ" is hotdogs and burgers. Apparently anything that's put on a grill suddenly becomes "BBQ."
