An impossibility or oxymoron. You either are or are not a crook. You can't steal a little bit from someone and be called a partial thief. You have taken, you are a thief, period. Therefore to say someone is a halfway crook is to refer to an impossibility. This term was made popular by Mobb Deep in the song "Shook Ones" when they called whack niggahs out who were "Scared to death, scared to look, you shook, cuz ain't no such thing as Halfway Crooks"
