"Up the Gumpstump" is a saying used to describe a large quantity of anything. Elderly people are more prone to saying "Up the Gumpstump" than other people. Most particularly when they are stressed about something they have a lot of. Merged words (gump & stump) believed to be originated from the words gum stump. A gum stump is a stump of a gum or Eucalyptus tree. Used as an exclamation!
