The shoe/trainer hybrid. Too casual to be shoes - definitely not trainers as no sport could ever be undertaken in them. Usually in two-tone brown, often slip-on or velcro, always ugly. Can be seen on dress down fridays or family holidays as dad thinks they will be good for the pool in the day and the restaurant at night.
