Corporate Spladder (slang)- one's fall from the corporate ladder through being terminated, fired, laid off or pushed off. A tongue-in-cheek play on words in contrast to a North American concept of climbing the corporate ladder, a ladder said to be impossible to climb. Created by two professional women, with corporate backgrounds, Corporate Spladder is a contemporary term for the aftermath of losing a job, what comes next and how it changes a person.
