Russian jargon used as a description of Poles, originating from the russian word for "choir" - "hor". In the early sarmatism era in Polish history, the main form of entertainment in mansions was listening to live musical performances of choirs. This Polish tradition was adapted by the Russians from traveling polish choir bands.
