A manga that is well [known] for its wacky characters, intense action sequences, and insane plot lines. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, written by Hirohiko Araki, is a seven part series that gained most of its popularity in the 90s and is the second longest running manga to date (over 100 volumes and counting).

The story revolves around a protagonist, who has the syllable "jo" in his first and last name, who has to kill an immortal evil that threatens mankind (vampires, gods, ex.) . The series is best known for its references to popular music in America, most of which are the names of characters in the series. Suzi Q, Vanilla Ice, [White Snake], ZZ Top, Lisa Lisa, the list goes on.

Today [the only thing] people remember about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is Dio Brando crushing the shit out of Jotaro with a steam roller while yelling "WRYYY" which is ultimately the best scene in the series but keeps would-be fans from reading anything else in the story.

Anyone new to [reading manga] or in need of a good classic series should read this.
