Someone (usually a perfectionist) who isn't satisfied with his/her grade on something such as a paper, and therefore proceeds to go to the professor to try to acquire (chisel) extra points on the scale of 1-5. same as a point beggar/orphan who begs the prof for scraps of points to add to his/her grade.
